Abstract
Cumberland County Superior Court justice William E. McKinley tomorrow will sentence Robert C. Hornbarger, 48, of Clearville, Penn., the truck driver involved in the October 1993 accident on the Maine Turnpike in Falmouth that killed four Lewiston area teenagers. A grand jury in December declined to indict Hornbarger on manslaughter charges, charging him instead with falsifying his logbook. Parents Against Tired Truckers has sent dozens of letters to McKinley urging the maximum sentence of six months in jail and a $1,000 fine, but observers believe he will follow legal guidelines and disregard emotion.
