Abstract

Brunswick Naval Air Station will become stronger as a result of the military base closings announced yesterday. Brunswick, not recommended for closure, will acquire a squadron of P-3s now stationed at the South Waymouth Naval Air Station in Massachusetts and about 130 active-duty reservists with the squadron will be transferred to Brunswick.
