Abstract

Brink's, the world's largest armored transportation company, has purchased the cash services and armored transportation departments of Maine Armored Car & Courier Service of Westbrook. MACCS was founded in 1978 in Portland by Harold Reder and his sons Alan and Jonathan, and moved to Westbrook in the early 1980s. The company will continue its courier service, which employs around 30 people, many of them part-time. Details.
