Abstract

A passenger aboard the ferry Bluenose sailing between Yarmouth, Nova Scotia, and Bar Harbor on Wednesday went beserk and had to be handcuffed and thrown into a makeshift brig. The unidentified man, a United States citizen, was being obnoxious, and after repeated attempts by the crew to calm him the captain had him put in a cabin. The man ransacked the cabin, at which point he was handcuffed and kept under guard until the ship docked in Bar Harbor.
