Abstract

The legislative committee studying the state's new automobile emissions testing program yesterday voted unanimously to recommend to the full state Legislature that the program be suspended, prompting F. Robert Miller of Systems Control, the company running the program, to tell the committee he wants to work with the state to solve problems associated with the program. Representatives of Systems Control and the state Department of Environmental Protection will try to develop specific recommendations on changes to correct problems with the testing. Details.
