Abstract

"Washington Watch" piece on the contest for the U.S. Senate, and the opposing stances taken by U.S. represenative Thomas Andrews, the Democratic candidate, and U.S. represenative Olympia Snowe, the Republican candidate. Snowe has received nearly $5,000 in donations from the National Rifle Association, while Andrews has received $7,000 from Handgun Control, the group that successfully lobbied for the Brady Bill.
