Abstract

Lloyd's of London yesterday filed suit in federal court against Bath Iron Works, accusing the company of negligence, negligent misrepresentation and breach of contract. The suit, filed in response to a suit filed in July by BIW against Lloyd's and the Institute of London Underwriters, seeks $14.4 million, the amount that the two insurers have paid out in BIW claims.
