Abstract
Filming for "The Langoliers," a four-hour ABC mini-series based on the Stephen King novella, will wrap up this month at Bangor International Airport. The filming, which has been going on for more than two months, has taken place entirely at the airport, most of it inside Hangar 462, a huge bomber hangar that housed B-52s and refueling jets when Dow Air Force Base was still in operation. An estimated $3 million to $5 million was spent in the state due to the filming. Details.
