Abstract

Only a few dozen motorists have taken their vehicles to the CarTest stations each day since the state suspended the program last week, leading to concerns that workers at the stations will be unable to improve their performance and the automobile emissions test. The fee for the test has been cut from $24 to $14 during the six-month suspension period to encourage motorists to voluntarily have thier vehicles tested. Details.
