Abstract
Granite State Gas Transmission is interested in installing one, and possibly two, liquefied natural gas storage tanks in Wells, west of the Maine Turnpike. Wells selectman Robert Foley maintains that the storage facility would present no safety hazard and that it would add $30 million to the town's tax base if one tank were installed and as much as $100 million if two tanks were installed.
