Abstract

Details on yesterday's gubernatorial debate, a two-hour affair sponsored by the Eco/Eco Forum at the College of the Atlantic in Bar Harbor. Independent candidate Angus King discussed his plan to have Maine exempted from the auto-emissions control requirements of the federal Clean Air Act, a move with which the three other candidates disagreed. The debate will air tomorrow on the Maine Public Broadcasting Network, with seven more televised debates to follow.
