Abstract

The state and Nautica Enterprises Inc. of New York yesterday announced an agreement that will exclude the company's sales from Maine corporate taxes. Nautica's wholesale warehouse in Rockland employs 132 people, and the company is planning a major expansion that will add 200,000 square feet to the 300,000 square feet it already uses. The company for the year ending February 1993 paid more than $1 million in taxes, and the agreement will cut that amount by more than half. Details.
