Abstract

WMTW-TV Channel 8 on Monday dropped the noon broadcast of the "Rush Limbaugh Show," prompting hundreds of calls from irate viewers and suspicions that the move was politically motivated. Limbaugh last week aired a show on the U.S. Senate race between U.S. representatives Thomas Andrews and Olympia Snowe that wasn't favorable to Andrews. At least one regular viewer of Limbaugh thinks that might be part of the reason the show was pulled from the noon broadcast. The show is now carried at 12:05 A.M.
