Abstract

Levinsky's has announced that it will not renew the lease of its 17,000-square-foot store in Brewer, which opened five years ago and has 14 employees. Company President Eric Levinsky said a decline in Canadian tourists and the opening of the Presque Isle mall were factors in the decision. Levinsky's flagship Portland store opened in 1919, and the company has outlets in Windham and Freeport.
