Abstract

Dozens of elderly Mainers yesterday attended a public hearing at the University of Southern Maine to denounce efforts of the state Task Force to Study the Safe Mobility of Maine's Aging Population, created last year by the state Legislature. The task force has proposed increasing vision testing and beginning testing for age-related mental problems at age 40. Details.
