Abstract

Details of a meeting of the editorial board of The Portland Newspapers and 1st District congressional candidates James Longley Jr., a Republican, and Democrat Dennis Dutremble, the president of the Maine Senate. Longley on Tuesday went to Washington to sign a GOP plan that promises to cut taxes and balance the federal budget.
