Abstract

Louisiana-Pacific Corp. was fined $11.1 million for violating the federal Clean Air Act, and was also ordered to install $70 million in anti-polluting devices. The violations occurred at 14 facilities in 11 states, including the firm's plant in Houlton, which produces waferboard.
