Related articles on the acquisition of S. D. Warren by a consortium headed by Sappi Ltd. of South Africa, one of the world's top 25 producers of pulp and paper. Scott Paper Co. yesterday said it is selling Warren, which includes 1 million acres of timberland in Maine and mills in Westbrook, Skowhegan, Alabama, Michigan and Pennsylvania, for $1.6 billion.
