Abstract

Leonard I. Sharon, president of the Maine Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, said that removing Harvey Prager from his clerking job at the Maine Supreme Judicial Court would be unconstitutional and reprehensible, and that even people who make serious mistakes can make good in society. Leonard's comments are in response to demands by the state's district attorneys that Prager, a convicted drug smuggler, be removed as law clerk to Justice Howard Dana. Details.
