Abstract

Dr. Douglas R. Hill, 66, on October 12 signed a consent decree with the Maine Board of Licensure in Medicine, under which he has agreed to give up his medical license next April in order to avoid facing a disciplinary hearing that might have led to court action. Nine complaints have been filed against Hill by female patients, alleging sexual misconduct that occurred between 1963 and 1977. As part of the consent decree, Hill agreed not to practice medicine in Maine or any other state after April 30, 1995. Details.
