Abstract
The U.S. Navy's Pacific Fleet is trying to get the UP-40 squadron of P-3 surveillance planes currently based at Moffett Field Naval Air Station in California transferred to Washington state, instead of to the Brunswick Naval Air Station. Losing the UP-40 squadron could change the way BNAS fits into the Navy's plans.
