Abstract

The Portland Planning Board gave final approval to a Post Office Park plan that will incorporate much of the original design but cost half as much due to the use of salvaged bricks and granite. The park, to be located across from Tommy's Park at Exchange, Middle and Market streets, will be built over the next four months for $122,000.
