Abstract

The opponents of Lewiston's new gay-rights ordinance have asked the state attorney general to investigate their charges that their First Amendment rights were violated at a hearing on the ordinance last week, claiming the mayor threatened that anyone making personal attacks on others would be forcibly removed.
