Abstract

Brief article reporting that Westbrook school superintendent Edward Connolly has overruled Westbrook High School principal William Michaud and has announced that Tina Rice and David Roberts, who were promised two days off from school if they scored above the average on the Maine Educational Assessment test, will not have those days counted as absences. Both Rice and Roberts will be able to retain their perfect attendance records under the new ruling.
