Abstract

Gene Van Eck, 22, of Sanford, has filed a complaint with the Sanford Police Department, charging that two officers drew guns on him and a friend and slammed the friend's face into the hood of a truck. Patrolman Lyndon Abbott has been suspended with pay pending an investigation, while Patrolment Michael Thornton hs not been disciplined.
