Abstract

A top official of the Augusta Mental Health Institute admits that the state failed to meet the needs of Keith Dickens, a county jail inmate who needed to be placed in a mental institute. The official promised to meet with York County sheriff Michael Bemis and with officials of other counties to review specific cases.
