Abstract

Keyes Fibre Co., which manufactures molded fiber products at plants in Waterville and Fairfield, has offered voluntary early retirment to 29 workers in an effort to cut employee levels even further than the 1992 job-cutting program. Many of the 1992 cuts were attributed to the loss of government contracts when the Persian Gulf war ended.
