Abstract

In a suit filed in U.S. District Court in Portland, Pioneer Plastics of Auburn is suing George R. Jordan Jr., who worked as risk manager for Pioneer's $4 million self-insurance fund. Pioneer claims that Jordan set up a phony company to investigate workers' compensation claims and billed Pioneer more than $280,000 over three years. The company alleges that Pinetree Insurance Services doesn't exist and performed no work for them.
