Abstract

Fifty-two Portland middle school students are gearing up for a 10-day trip to Portland's sister city of Shinagawa, Japan, but their fund-raising effort is still $20,000 short of the $75,000 needed to pay for the excursion. Seven events are scheduled in June to help raise funds.
