Abstract

Maine Respite Home Inc., a non-profit group, has announced that it is embarking on a campaign to raise $1.2 million to build a hospice home in the Portland area, in order to provide care for terminally ill people who cannot remain at home. Richard Berman, acting president of the group, expects to serve more than 100 families per year.
