Abstract

Elizabeth Gould, 9, Lynn Corbett, 11, and Sonya Corbett, 10, all of Scarborough, raised $13.87 by cutting lawns and selling their artwork. They plan to donate the money to the Scarborough Board of Education, hoping the money will help save the Wentworth Intermediate School's fifth-grade band, which has been targeted for budget cuts because of an expected decrease in state aid.
