Abstract

Superior Court justice Donald Alexander has dismissed a lawsuit by the mother of Melissa Roy against C.N. Brown, the owner of the Big Apple store in Lewiston where Melissa was stabbed to death during a bungled police stakeout in September 1990. Alexander said that Maine's workers' compensation law bars lawsuits for work-related injuries.
