Abstract

Long article on Regional Waste Systems and the continuing deliberations on a plan to build an $18 million recycling center and landfill in Gorham. Because of complaints from some of its members about the cost and scope of the plan, RWS has proposed seven alternatives to the Gorham facility, and its board is scheduled to vote on the issue on June 24.
