Abstract

The Maine Science and Technology Commission, founded in 1986 as a way to promote research and development in the state, is facing budget reductions which could decrease its yearly allocation from the current $2.2 million to $500,000. The reduction would mean the loss of $1.45 million in federal matching funds. Details.
