Abstract
The Portland City Council voted unanimously Monday night to spend $318,000 to develop a "greenway" path which would begin near the Casco Bay ferry terminal, wind along the foot of the Eastern Promenade and connect with the Back Cove jogging path. The city's contribution is a key piece of the $1.2 million needed to develop the path, and will be added to the $800,000 the state has pledged to the project.
