Abstract

Long article about product-tampering cases in Maine, and how the Maine Department of Agriculture and individual businesses deal with them. A Westbrook man was recently sentenced for falsely reporting that he found shards of glass in Shop 'n Save sugar, believed to be the first prosecution in Maine under a federal anti-tampering statute.
