Abstract

John J. Finn, 59, labor lawyer and chief negotiator for the Maine State Employees Association for 10 years before being fired in 1984, has been awarded $157,000 by a Superior Court jury. Finn had sued the MSEA for libel and slander, saying he had been wrongly accused of using drugs.
