Abstract

A buyer group headed by Rick and Micki Hoddinott, owners of Downeast Whitewater Rafting of The Forks, has purchased the 750-acre Mt. Abrams ski area in Locke Mills. The new company wants to have snow-making on all trails within five years, and plans to focus on the southern Maine day-tripper market.
