Abstract
A proposal by the North Atlantic Salmon Conservation Organization would, if adopted at this week's international meeting, cut the commercial quota in West Greenland to 213 metric tons from its current level of 840 metric tons. U.S. officials believe the cut would help to boost the return of salmon to the Penobscot and other rivers in New England and Canada. Details.
