Abstract
The Maine chapter of the National Organization for Women has registered opposition to the Maine Supreme Judicial Court's preliminary political redistricting plan, claiming that it discriminates against women. The organization says that the number of women legislators will decrease because the plan dilutes the exisiting districts that are more likely to elect women. Details.
