Abstract

Brief article reporting that the Rev. Albert Earle of the Steep Falls Baptist Church has resigned following an arbitrator's ruling in a dispute over the church's pews. Earle and his followers had wanted to replace the church's old wooden pews with more comfortable ones, a plan which was opposed by some congregants.
