Abstract

A project funded with $500,000 from the federal Environmental Protection Agency and $80,000 from the Maine Bureau of Environmental Protection will test fish from at least 120 Maine lakes for mercury and other toxic contaminants. The project, which began in May and will run through the spring of 1995, will analyze 15 fish of various species from each of the 120 lakes. Details.
