Abstract

Community services funding for Maine's mentally ill has been cut by nearly $4.8 million over the next two years, to a total of $23.8 million. State officials and mental health advocates are predicting longer waiting lists for services, reductions in 24-hour crisis centers and fewer case managers for the mentally ill.
