Abstract

The University of Southern Maine is using a $409,000 federal grant to offer job-related literacy training in partnership with Barber Foods, Hannaford Bros., Irwin Co. and National Semiconductor Inc. The Casco Bay Partnership for Workplace Education will benefit blue-collar workers by offering basic reading, writing and math at area workplaces.
