Abstract
The Maine Supreme Judicial Court, claiming that state law parallels federal law in barring lawsuits against military personnel, has ruled that the Maine Human Rights Commission cannot bring complaints against members of the Maine National Guard. The case stemmed from a complaint by Wayne Jacobs, who contends he was denied two Judge Advocate General positions because of his whistleblowing activities.
