Abstract

Ventech Inc. of Bangor, founded by J. Stephen Robbins and Albert "Sandy" Smith, are marketing a system whereby a person's medical records would be available to any hospital emergency room in the country in a matter of seconds. The service, called Vitae-Stat, is one of a number of medical-records businesses being propelled by new technology and trends in the health care industry.
