Abstract

The University of Maine Cooperative Extension has received a $60,000 grant from the federal Department of Agriculture to help teach farmers and residents how to minimize their impact on the Royal River. The program is targeting pesticide use, small pollution sources, erosion and other problems to educate the people who might impact the river in ways to cut back on such impacts. Details.
