Abstract

Irving Oil Corp., the Maine subsidiary of the Canadian oil giant, has been negotiating to purchase Harris Oil of South Portland. Harris is one of the top 20 dealers of residential heating oil in southern Maine, supplying about 8 percent of the residential fuel oil sold in Maine's five southern counties.
