Abstract

Brief story about Jay Windover, Gary Howard, and Dennis Creaser who yesterday showed off a nine-pound amethyst crystal. The trio has discovered what they claim to be the nation's second largest amethyst deposit, containing an estimated 2,500 pounds of the gem. The site is in an undisclosed location in Stow, Maine, along the New Hampshire border.
