Superior Court justice Robert E. Crowley has granted a motion by lawyers for fired Cumberland police chief Leon Planche to cross-examine Cumberland town manager Robert Benson, who Planche claims was too biased to sit as presiding officer at Planche's disciplinary hearing. The state Department of Labor in May ruled that Planche's firing was unjust. Details.
